Enterprise Storage Engineer (Senior)

A restricted program in Reston Virginia is looking for a senior level Enterprise Storage Engineer.  This individual will perform engineering of the Enterprise Storage Infrastructure to include occasional on-call response to incidents (e.g., outages, degraded service, or device/appliance failures) when escalated from Tier 2 Operations.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Full scope polygraph.
  • Position would require a minimum of 5 years experience in storage networking architectures.
  • Position requires experience with large, heterogeneous, enterprise class storage solutions comprised of components from multiple industry standard vendors.
  • Candidate must have experience, which would include, design, installation, setup and administration, capacity planning/management of an enterprise Storage/Backup infrastructure along with practical experience with maintaining large heterogeneous environment.

Senior Unix Administrator

A restricted program in Reston, VA has a requirement for a Senior Unix Administrator.  The successful candidate for this position will maintain UNIX workstations and servers at a customer location.  The person will perform project work as well as O&M functions. Create and document new methods and implements changes to procedures. Provide training, mentoring and guidance to more junior staff members.  Additional responsibilities include: identifying alternative solutions, performs key trade studies, and reviews designs; consulting with customers and attends planning meetings; staying abreast of technical literature and reviews technical documents and reports.  May develop and present white papers in solving major customer technical problems

Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Full scope polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8-11 years of experience in Unix Systems Administration. Additional years of experience may substitute in lieu of degree.
  • In-depth to comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and techniques gained through extensive study and experience in Systems Administration.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or PERL. Prior experience configuring servers.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present approaches and findings; implement information plans within a project; install and configure COTS products.
  • Capable of administering and/or managing multiple activities and consulting effectively with customers. Ability to apply methodologies, standards, and policies.

Network Engineer/Administrator

A restricted program in Reston, VA has a requirement for a Network Engineer with a strong networking background and an understanding of application data flow to serve as front line Tier 2 support.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI Full scope polygraph clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 2-4 yrs. of network engineering experience; additional years of experience may be used to substitute in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with LAN, WAN, Intranet and Internet.
  • Candidates must have strong troubleshooting abilities and interpersonal skills to work through issues with various teams.

  • Experience implementing network security measures to include firewalls; troubleshooting network problems.
  • Familiarity in determining inefficiencies in the event management architecture; and recommending changes to improve management of system operation to ensure network availability to all system users.
  • Bluecoat experience needed.

STREET Firewall Engineer/Administrator

A restricted program in Reston, VA has a requirement for a Firewall Engineer with a strong firewall/networking background.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and customer green badge.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 2-4 yrs. of network engineering experience; additional years of experience may be used to substitute in lieu of degree.
  • Must have a good understanding of Security Vulnerabilities, Rule based access control, Ports and protocols.
  • Experience with operating system browsers, proxy’s, and various networking devices including Cisco and Blue Coat Systems.
